What advice would you give to ESL students?
Watch American television! It helped me a great deal while I was living in a foreign country, especially with slang and listening comprehension. Study the grammar lists in the back of your textbook and enjoy the sights of San Francisco (and the Bay Area in general).

What do you think of IIC?
I enjoy teaching at IIC because through working with my students we are able to share our experiences, ideas and opinions. I feel a sense of satisfaction when students are able to use the skills I teach to express their ideas more clearly, especially when they are able to use them to make a joke or witty remark and we can all enjoy a good laugh. I also enjoy chatting and sharing teaching tips with the other teachers, who are very nice people.
